Cost to Attend

Tuition

Tuition at IUPUI is calculated by credit hours of classes at the rate of $217.70 per credit hour for Indiana residents, and $663.95 for non-residents. Most courses are either 3, 4, or 5 hours of credit.

Mandatory and Optional Fees

In addition to credit hour-based tuition, some courses have special fees such as supplies, equipment, or laboratory fees.

Also there are mandatory fees (all students are charged) technology, student activity, and athletic development fees. The recreation fee and locker rental fees are optional. The new student enrollment fee is a one time fee assessed during the first term of enrollment for all degree seeking students. Tuition and fees are determined each year in late spring by the Trustees of Indiana University.

Consult the Office of the Bursar Web page for exact costs.

Parking Fees

The student parking fee is optional, however students must have a valid permit in order to park on campus. Free offsite parking, as well as pay garages and meters are offered to students as an alternative to buying a permit. Visit the Parking & Transportation Services website for more details.
