Vivek Prasad, MD - PGY 3 Vivek is an eager TB resident looking fwd to the rich training that incorporates the best aspects of pediatrics, psychiatry and child psychiatry. Riley is a specialized childrens hospital that attracts many complex cases -- uncommon congenital heart defects to even mercury poisoning! On his time off from work, he's running while listening to his iPod, getting into car accidents (don't ask), and enjoying his new puppy. After having spent a bit more than two years in Indy, he is still surprised by the events that this convention city offers. Summer is the best time of the year, with parades, cultural festivals (Irish, Italian, Indian, Middle Eastern to name a few), free concerts by the canal and even outdoor movies under the starry sky. If you have any questions, drop him an email at viprasad@iupui.edu.

Kenneth Pittman, MD - PGY 2 Ken has lived in several places, but calls Knoxville, TN home. He attended high school in Knoxville before going to Clemson (in South Carolina) for undergraduate to major in biochemistry. He is a huge sports fan including all Clemson sports, any form of baseball, and whatever sport catches his interest at any given moment. After Clemson, Ken attended the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, which is one of the smallest public medical schools. He then came to Indiana to be a Triple Board resident at one of the largest public medical schools. In his spare time, Ken enjoys working with kids at his church, attending sporting events, working on his website, and collecting various things including pins, ticket stubs, and sports cards. |

Brandi Rudolph, MD - PGY 2 Brandi is one of our Triple Board second year residents. A southern diva from Birmingham, Alabama, Brandi received her bachelors in neuroscience from Vanderbilt University. She then remained in Nashville, completing her medical education at Meharry Medical College. Since being at IU, Brandi continues her role as a leader, which flourished while at Meharry. She is a founding member of the Pediatrics Department's Wellness Committee, aimed at increasing morale in that department, and was instrumental in re-instituting the "Big Sib" program, a peer-to-peer program which welcomes and guides interns. In her time away from patients, Brandi enjoys shopping and socializing with family and friends. Trained in tap, ballet, and jazz, Brandi still hopes to find time to further explore her options in dance.

Schvon Cummings, MD - PGY 1 I was born in Kingsport, TN, since then I have moved a total of seven times, having lived most of my life in the Midwest. I received my bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University and attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit. So far, I have found Indianapolis to be a great city with an active downtown and plenty of events for anyone to enjoy. I chose IU because of the wide variety of educational opportunities and facilities that it offers. I believe that the triple board program allows one the opportunity to integrate both physical and mental healthcare for children. In my spare time I like to travel, spend time with my family, shop, watch movies, and dine out. |
